Blind

What does it really mean to be blind? Haveyou ever asked yourself this simple, yet quite perplexing question? Let's not dwell on those questions because the question I'd really like to ask you is are you blind or are your eyes wide open? But before you answer that question, let's indulge in this thought provoking passage which I’m certain it will definitely make your synapses jump like jubilant kids on a trampoline.

I’m assuming we all know the famous life routine most Africans are raised by, which is go to school so you can be successful or go to church in order for God to reserve a seat for you at the celestial city. Hm! Quite interesting. What I've noticed in so many black communities is that blindness is rife. Most of us are oblivious to our: health, finances, spiritual wellness, emotional and mental wellness. We live according to the systems dogma that rules most Africans which tells us to consume, shut the hell up, spend. Come into this world, grow up, go to school, follow without questioning, go to varsity, get a job and work til you die. Wow, that's not a pretty interesting way to live for a person who has dreams and goals. No offence but I'd rather commit suicide than live like that! We live in a world where most humans are cleaving to materials in such a way that they end up failing to settle their credits and face hideous eventualities like being blacklisted, to say the least. All for what, a dubious honor of being vaunted for emanating self-consciousness? Who are you without those materials? I mean the naked soul, the vulnerable, naive, self-cognizant little child who's constantly ill at ease due to their ridiculous devout of living to please the general population...Is that who you really want to be? Is that the old age individual whose grandchildren will be proud of in the future? Is that who you were brought in this world to be? So why would you choose to be another man's chattel just so you could attain materials that don't even make up 50% of the man/woman that you are? Why do you have to be a slave of make-up, just so you could feel beautiful? You can't spell "beautiful" without "be you", so what makes you think being yourself will make you less pulchritudinous or significant than BeyoncĂ©, Kim Kardashian, Bonang or most of these "well-known for perpetuating excessive self-cognizance among young wenches" women by painting a false image of beauty inside Phil's boxes that keeps the general population's calvaria tools in boxes.

Self-consciousness is a paradox on its own, if you take a good look at it. You're thoroughly cognizant of yourself, while you are losing sight of what's happening around you and losing self-knowledge. Self-conscious people always worry about how they look, what they're wearing or what society says or thinks because they're trying to be as innocuous as they can, so that society won't label their actions as blasphemy. Most people got so much potential and they aren't where they want to be owing to the thoughts of fear, rejection and being a patella to society's rules that are engulfing their calvarias. Living your life that way is no different than you being their chattels or slave, if you will. They tell you what to wear, what to do, what's morally accepted and not. Basically they own not less than 85% of shares of your life, or even 100%. I'm assuming most of us know the often used financial terms, i.e: Assets and liabilities(even though most of us don't know their meanings) •A liability is anything that takes money from your pocket. •An asset is anything that puts money in your pocket. Clothes don't put money in your pockets, your querencia don't put money in your pockets unless you're using it as a bivouac for tenants, your motor vehicle does not put money in your pockets unless it's a utility vehicle or it's also used to get you some commission. So why do you choose to jump from credit to credit, so much that you can't even settle all because of society's norms of conformity?

I'm certain that self-consciousness contributes to depression. Self-consciousness is one the reasons why most people spend the money they don't have on frivolous materials just to be socially accepted and be approved by society, and too many expenses breed financial problems, financial problems breed stress and stress will, eventually take you down the depression route, let alone even turn you into a cadaver. Everyone has a vision, but everyone is precariously close to being blinded by society. Celebrities live short-lived lavish lifestyles due to self-consciousness. Self-consciousness is equivalent to being unconscious while both eyes are open. Why spend so much just to impress people who'll criticize you even if you're considered the most beautiful or the best in a certain field that you excel in? Sometimes, we're our own boundaries. We fear opinions of individuals who won't even offer us a list of simpler ways to ameliorate our living conditions or financial state. We allow them to dictate our lives, from how we should live, to who we should be, because being yourself is now deemed blasphemous within society. Everyone wants to fit in so bad that they end up neglecting their own skins. Have you ever asked yourself why the predominant population that suffer, mostly from mental malady like depression are young people? In my perspective, I'd say it's all part of the system. I mean, look at it this way (we all have different perspectives, anyway): The people who are more eligible to bring change or revolution on this planet are young people, and with the guidance of the elders, of course. Now the elders have 9-5s to attend to, no time or less time for their offspring. Television becomes the only hope for raising the young ones, and we all know what television does to a human brain. The celebrities and public figures are cool and every child aspires to be like their hero. That means, even if their hero endorses toxic behavior. Television is extremely powerful, I tell you. Ask yourself why Phil Farnsworth never wanted his offspring near his invention. He knew that it is a lethal weapon to the mind. The general population, solely, depends on Phil's boxes for almost everything, information, trends and prime time shows that also influence the way most people live. Television gives you the idea that your eyes are wide open, while you're dangerously oblivious to what's actually taking place around you. Most of the information that people get from Phil's boxes is either edited or false and is meant to lead the general population astray in order to fulfill the authority's, politicians and the rulers of the system's nefarious activities that take place behind the scenes. TV has the power to make the general population hate the angel and also the power to make them love the devil, in oblivion, of course. Today, black people are the dominant population in the working and lower class, in their own continent.

We're still slaves, we still give birth to children and then send them to a white man's yard to go ask for a job, at this day in age. The go to school, varsity and go work for a reputable company didn't even put Africans halfway to financial and time freedom, back then...why are we still using that method today, if we are striving to see more Africans in the list of 1%? More Africans would rather own 9 carat gold teeth, fill their wardrobes with European brands, their garages with German names, own expensive jewelry and more frivolous items, all being maintained by a single stream of income(A salary, of course). Africans drown daily in their dubious honor of drinking expensive liquor and taking photos, everytime they eat at these well-known franchises and restaurants while their list of assets is as clean as Jesus' ways. Why do we feel important, everytime we spend money on frivolous things? Why would we rather risk our lives digging gold at African soils for a minimum wage pay just to send it to Europe and America for a cheap price, then buy it a hefty price, and feel dubiously honored to allow the dentists to fleece us with a mere 9 carats? Why are we stealing from our own and then choose to be loyal securities for a white capitalist's assets, while settling for an insult that is euphemized as wages? More Africans work in farms that are owned by Caucasians, in Africa. More Africans keep yapping about how they want their land back but would rather waste money by sending their children to varsities to study HR, so they could work for those white men they claim stole their land, instead of inducing their offspring to pursue agricultural studies or anything that has to do with property.

A larger portion of the African population are Christians, but would rather allow European scientists to fleece them and slowly kill them with the drugs and genetically modified foods while the bible stated clearly on Genesis 1:29 that all the trees on earth should be meat to us. Most Africans, in Africa barely know their own history, neglect their own ancestors and obliviously worship an ancestor called Jesus, hate one another but would effortlessly offer a caucasian they've never met before, a wide smile whenever they walk past them at shopping complexes. We're so blind to a point that even the politicians' target market are, mostly, the black population owing to our credulity. Yup! Whatever the mafias in expensive suits and fake smiles say, we believe without questioning-You'd swear they authored the bible. Live men get altered into cadavers, in townships due to having different political views while the politicians who represent different parties share drinks and pungent banters in the absence of the public eye. Actually, Africans murder one another over anything, and most of the reasons are ridiculous. Instead of uniting and building a strong society, economy and have our own power as Africans, we murder one another. How many black people get murdered a year in bloods and crips gang wars? How many coloreds get murdered, by coloreds annually over the 26s and the 28s war? How many Taxi owners get murdered each year over taxi wars? Some get murdered due to the progress of their business.

Imagine how powerful would the African Americans be, if it was not for this buffoonery culture of gangbanging. They effortlessly murder their own, but would succumb to a white policeman who would murder them even if they were unarmed. Imagine how powerful would coloreds be, economically if it wasn't for this imbecility of 26s, 28s, Dawgens, Americans or whatever those gangs call themselves. Zulus would've been the ones leading the whole country, economically, but it seems segregation wins the war everytime, in the black communities. If it's not Africans eliminating one another, it's the worst disease that's killing black communities, known as self-consciousness. Africans exceed their credit limits buying frivolous materials such as clothes with vaunted brands or cars just to spite their fellow Africans. "Stupid" is the pertinent word to describe Africans' behavior and their current state of mind. We're a nation that's subconsciously unconscious.

We're consanguineous to zombies, blind is an understatement because blind people have braille to help them communicate in what is deemed their form of text. All we need is love to start seeing the possibilities that are ubiquitous in our world, but the hate, segregation and ego is putting us in the position of utter oblivion.

The objects of fear

The great Bantu Biko , once said that fear is an important determinant in South African politics. In fact, that’s what all governments use to contain the civilians. Fear, is not the power that one attains, but the power that he is given by the ones who fear him.  Allow me, to quote the legendary Biko: “It is a fear so basic in the considered actions of black people as to make it impossible for them to behave like people---let alone free people.” “One must not underestimate the deeply imbedded fear of the black man so prevalent in white society. Whites know only too well what exactly they have been doing to blacks and logically find reason for the black man to be angry. Their state of insecurity however does not outweigh their greed for power and wealth, hence they brace themselves to react against this rage rather than to dispel it with open-mindedness and fair play.” “It sometimes looks obvious here that the great plan is to keep the black people thoroughly intimidated and

Resurrection

Christians would think of Jesus, first, when this word is being mentioned. According to Merriam Webster dictionary, it is the rising again of all the human dead before the final judgment; or the state of one risen from the dead. It is, simply, about revival nor the process of renewal. In Christianity, Jesus Christ was crucified and resurrected on the third day. In the African culture, resurrection comprises a nexus with ancestors nor the ones who are considered deceased or late, on earth, like Christ. We may find resurrection being elucidated in a variety of ways from disparate perspectives and, mostly from religious perspectives. In the ancient Greek religion, there are many instances where the concept of resurrection gains enormous relevance. Memnon, who was killed by Achilles, was resurrected.  Achilles, after being killed, was resurrected by his mother, Thetis. Asclepius, was resurrected and altered into a more colossal deity, subsequent to being killed by Zeus.  Alcest

Dark.

“Dark” the total absorption of light nor utter absence of light; the most feared state. There are nyctophiles, also. It is quite kenspeckle that the hoi polloi had been programmed to associate dark or the darkness with only nefarious, uncongenial, evil things; the hilarious part is that this idea or thought was popularized by those who are subjectively attracted to the light or the white color. For centuries, we’ve seen and still see how the dark people and all other people were convinced that black or dark is the antonym of pulchritude. Credulous Africans, who lack self-knowledge, believed it. Hence, for decades, we’ve seen (and still do) dark people altering their pigment to be lighter, in lieu of dark. Most, claim it’s a decision they took, not out of self-contempt. But, change, inextricably makes the past existence of a substance nor image to often be treated with contempt, if not utter.  If you take a good look at this “black" or “white" matter, you’d ascerta
