Kafir!

An Arabic word for non-believer; however, not everyone is shrewd to an extent where they have knowledge and understanding of the correct meaning for the word. There are imbeciles, who believe that this word is a derogatory word that they must use to insult Bantu people. Lack of knowledge and understanding, are the sole reasons why this word eventuated in an utterly tumultuous nor adversarial relationship between Bantu people and the grandchildren of those who came with ships, to Africa.  In 1948, the racial segregation laws were promulgated by the imbeciles who had the desire to oppress the natives owing to their enormous fear of Bantu people, and the enormous envy they had over the wealthy Bantu people who attained wealth naturally, from their forefathers. They, simply, promulgated these laws to ensure that the natives were deprived of the equal opportunity to compete with the colonizers economically, spiritually, sexually, mentally and in any fair way. The Bantu people, a

Slaves of perception

We may refer to perception as a mental image. Everyone has a disparate perception of certain aspects or subjects, in life. Our lives, are dominated by perception. A famous aphorism, that most of us have great knowledge of is “perception of reality is more real vis-à-vis reality”. This aphorism, simply, enlightens us that a preponderance of what we think we see nor devoutly believe, is actually false. However, this is an irrefutable fact that most people aren’t prepared to be receptive to. “Money, makes the world go ‘round” is an aphorism which has enlightened us nor helped us ascertain the fact that the roads are filled with a traffic of cars, daily, because a preponderance of people choose to spend a chief portion of their lives, skills, talents and time to serve, most often, foreign capitalists who will offer them a salary or a minimum wage, but not wealth, as a token of their appreciation. A preponderance of people, today, believe in “job security”; the biggest fable eve

The objects of fear

The great Bantu Biko , once said that fear is an important determinant in South African politics. In fact, that’s what all governments use to contain the civilians. Fear, is not the power that one attains, but the power that he is given by the ones who fear him.  Allow me, to quote the legendary Biko: “It is a fear so basic in the considered actions of black people as to make it impossible for them to behave like people---let alone free people.” “One must not underestimate the deeply imbedded fear of the black man so prevalent in white society. Whites know only too well what exactly they have been doing to blacks and logically find reason for the black man to be angry. Their state of insecurity however does not outweigh their greed for power and wealth, hence they brace themselves to react against this rage rather than to dispel it with open-mindedness and fair play.” “It sometimes looks obvious here that the great plan is to keep the black people thoroughly intimidated and

The subjective nature of humans

What does it take to be utterly objective? Is it even possible to be utterly objective? As humans, we are born naturally subjective.  We want our lives to be better, we want things to go our way, we want to own the day, and ensure that all in our lives, goes in accordance with our wishes and desires. It’s as if, being subjective is in our nature.  According to the Holy Bible, God wants us to only worship him, and no other gods. That’s being subjective. Growing up, we are naturally dependent on our parents or legal guardians and expect to get love and protection from them. We’ve been programmed to expect them to provide us with what we were told we are entitled to.  Hard work pays off; therefore, naturally, we expect to get congenial results every time we put in effort. We expect our loved ones nor the people we are emotionally attached to, to love us. A competition may comprise 50+ competitors, but, an irrefutable fact is that a preponderance of those contenders, if not all

Intersubjective reality

Life to a preponderance, is deemed utterly complex nor ornery. To some, it is simply a 24-hours of unlocking mysteries, busting myths, augmenting their bank accounts, changing lives, solving new problems, innovating their vicinity, and ameliorating themselves and their environments in any way possible. From birth, everyone has dreams, but the journey to dreams, starts from reality; this is the part that often creates pessimists, gadflies and querulous characters.  As we grow up, the older generation obtains the privilege to program our subconscious minds. They, obviously, use a subtle way to dictate our beliefs, likes, dislikes, values, habits, etc. Before we go to formal school, we’ve already been programmed from our homes as to how to behave nor conduct ourselves, what to believe in, when to say “yes”, and when to say “no”, etc. When we get to the initial level of formal education, which is the early development educational program. In our crèches, day-cares, nor nannies

The Love

Whenever the word love is being uttered, the first idea that pops up in the hoi polloi’s thought bulbs is romantic relationships, nor anything that comprises romance and intimacy. I stand tall in being corrected.  The more we grow up, the more our perspective of the world nor life,  changes drastically. It’s as if, every 24-hours brings tremendous changes. Change is scary. An irrefutable fact. However, the idea of mystery is what makes change and the future to be so exciting; mystery, is contemporaneously scary and exciting. It’s consanguineous to watching a horror movie in a dark room.  Whether we devoutly refute change nor the future due to being overly comfortable in the current position we’ve occupied for an elongated period; saying goodbye, is an inevitable event that we often choose to eschew, in lieu of preparing for it. With the presence of proper preparation, the probability of succeeding is higher. I stand tall in being corrected. Love is one of the words that are

Jealousy - A frivolous expense

“The grass looks greener on the other side" a well-known aphorism, often exalted by those who are engulfed by self-contempt. The grass only looks greener on the other side, if you look at it. If you mind your own business and fix your focus on the devout goal of ameliorating yourself, miraculously, your grass might even become brilliant green vis-à-vis the one from the other side. An irrefutable fact; you came alone into the world, you shall also depart alone. There are gobs of individuals who populate this Earth. Hence, we tend to be feasibly tempted into deviating our focus from our own lives, and end up overly admiring other people’s gardens and hoes. And, as we all know, excess may eventuate a peril. Jealousy is subsequent to overly perusing other people’s success nor progress that you end up developing apathy for your own; you end up being oblivious to the great features you possess. It is the reason why we have murderers, hitmen, witches, traitors and all kinds o

The Earth

The earth; from sempiternal debates about whether it is round or flat, to sempiternal discussions of how to ameliorate the planet. Earth, is the only planet not named after a God but comprise more people who yearn nor seek a god, more than themselves.  However, Earth is a querencia for a myriad of species, deemed living and non-living. 7.5 % of Earth, is the soil. The soil filters water, regulates the weather, and provides our plants with essential nutrients. It is the chief reason why the famous bible verse turned aphorism “You shall reap what you sow" became prevalent. In life, this aphorism elucidates the irrefutable fact that what most of us are oblivious to is that we shall use our time on Earth to plant the seeds we have and grow the trees that’ll produce the best fruit; ripe for feeding the future generations and beyond, and it is also incumbent upon us to ensure that we educate the next generations about the significance of maintaining those trees and keeping t

Death - A suffering.

Death, according to many, is a dreadful event; especially for the living. We’ve all read all kinds of poems from disparate poets who express their enormous abhorrence for death. The irrefutable and inextricable fact is that whether we love it or abhor it; death, remains an inevitable event of life. Unlike birth; not all are born into this world but all that live in this world will, inevitably die. Sad but utterly true. We often hear of a phrase nor aphorism, or even a belief, that a cat has 9 lives. Most would often use that to metaphorically refer to its abilities to cheat death. Most of us even wish to be like cats or possess the abilities of having multiple lives. What if we die more than 9 times, but we’re in utter oblivion? We often hear an aphorism, the legendary Tupac Shakur made it famous, which is “A coward dies a thousand deaths…" This, simply, means that you die every time you allow fear to impel you to eschew attaining what you direly desire. So, in essence
